Loofah plant is related to the cucumber. When matured and harvested its fibers(xylem) are used to make loofah sponges.

Activate: Place sponge in water

To Disinfect : Every few weeks soak sponge in  10% vinegar and water or 20% peroxide and water for two hours. With proper maintenance can last up to 2 months.
